Midnight Blackjack Rules
Introducing a new variant of the traditional game, Midnight Blackjack! Please note that rules may or may not resemble various versions of Blackjack played around the world.The Deck
We use an aetheric card dealer constituting infinite decks (/dice 13). Sorry, but counting cards won't work here!
Ace (roll 1) - Valued as either 1 or 11.
Number cards (roll 2-10) - Valued as their own number.
Face cards (roll 11-13) - Jack is 11, Queen is 12, King is 13, Valued as 10.The Game
Players submit their chips to the dealer, in the form of trading gil. The minimum bet is 50k per hand, and the maximum bet is 250k gil per hand (double down negates this maximum). The maximum bet for lifetime VIP members is 1 million gil per hand.The dealer will deal out a series of cards in a clockwise motion and one card for the dealer, players will not touch or draw their own cards. If in the event that the dealer’s opening card is an ace, they will draw a second card once all players have received two cards. If the hand is natural blackjack (1) or Ace and any 10 cards, the round is over for any players that don’t possess the same opening value and is considered a loss. Any players holding the same opening value will be considered a push and receive their bet back.If the dealer’s opening card doesn’t possess an ace, then the game will continue as normal, players being able to hit or stay. Once players stay they will then be the dealers turn to draw their remaining cards, at this point players will no longer be able to take on any more cards.Winning
Once all players have played, if there are still hands in play, the dealer will reveal their face-down card. The dealer will hit on soft 17 (2). Once the dealer's turn is complete, all players who have beat the dealer will receive 150% of their original bet. Players who have beat the dealer with a Blackjack will receive 200% of their original bet (3). And a natural blackjack will receive a payout of 250%. Ties will result in a Push (4). If the player has won, their earnings will be received from the dealer after each winning hand.Exclusions
Below are a list of components that, while are commonly found in other casino variants of Blackjack, are NOT currently supported in Midnight Blackjack.

Player has less than 21, but more than the dealer. Player receives 150% of their bet, at 75k. (2) Player bet 50k. Player busts, or, has less than the dealer. Player receives 0 gil. (3) Player bet 50k. Player has Blackjack and dealer does not. Player receives 200% of their bet, at 100k. (4) Player bet 50k. Both the player and the dealer tie (regardless of Blackjack).
